Today marks the beginning of a new school year in Ukraine. For children across the country, returning to school once again takes place under the difficult realities of the ongoing war. Despite uncertainty, disruption, and the many challenges children and families continue to face, the start of a new school year remains an important moment of hope, continuity, and new opportunities.

At Tabula Rasa for the Future Generation, we are very happy that the SKOLA+ and SPORT+ projects will continue throughout the 2026–2027 school year. Together with our long-standing partner Science4People, as well as teachers, coaches, families, and our local community, we will continue creating opportunities for children and young people to learn, develop, stay active, and spend meaningful time together.

Through SKOLA+, children can continue learning, discover new interests, strengthen their skills, and experience the support of a community around them. SPORT+ gives them opportunities to stay active, work as a team, build confidence, and enjoy moments of friendship and normality – something that is especially valuable for children growing up during wartime.

For us, these projects are about much more than education and sport. They create spaces where children can feel supported, discover their strengths, make friends, and simply experience moments of childhood despite the difficult circumstances surrounding them.

We are deeply grateful to Science4People and to everyone who continues to support these activities and makes them possible under such challenging circumstances.

As the new academic year begins, we wish all children, students, teachers, and families in Ukraine strength, confidence, curiosity, and, above all, a safe and successful school year. We look forward to another year of learning, movement, friendship, shared experiences, and new achievements together.
