SPORT+

SPORT+

The SPORT+ project is aimed at supporting rural teams in sports such as football, basketball, and volleyball to promote a healthy lifestyle among youth. At the same time, we believe that sports activities create a positive psychological balance for students, which is especially important during times of war. Recognition of coaches for their dedication and voluntary work they have already done plays an important role. At this stage, it should be emphasized that both coaches participating in the program are internally displaced persons. They are actively working in schools and have already led several sports teams to regional success. Currently, we are working with partners on expanding this initiative.

SKOLA+

SKOLA+

Started with the support of our partner organization S4P at two schools in October 2023, the SKOLA+ project, initially designed as a tutoring program for schoolchildren, has now surpassed the pilot phase and has been established in five schools in Western Ukraine and also in one school near the frontline. Classes are held in small groups, and teachers can respond to individual needs of children and provide support. Currently, approximately 250 children are participating in the project, and we aim to expand this initiative to more schools.

WAR AND ART

WAR AND ART

Cultural dialogue "War and art. They destroy, and we create", which our team organized in cooperation with the NGO "MO "STAN"". The exhibition dedicated to open dialogues about peace was presented to the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Transcarpathian Regional Universal Scientific Library named after F. Potushnyak. Visitors were able to see the works of several Swiss artists, as well as the Ukrainian artist Maria Vyshetska. Ukrainian artists Serhiy Letuchy, Volodymyr Khila, Serhiy Hrychanok, as well as Yana Malyga - an eyewitness of the occupation, author of a number of stories about life in the Russian occupation and ways to save the inhabitants of Kherson Oblast during this year's war events - took part in the dialogue.

“NO CHILD IS A STRANGER”

“NO CHILD IS A STRANGER”

"No child is a stranger" is a charity event that has already become a tradition in our community. The purpose of this charitable initiative is to support the Zakarpattia regional shelter in Batyovo. This year, our partner organization Science4People also joined us in the creation of personal packages for children and the purchase of a joint gift for each resident of the shelter - a portable speaker.

INTEGRATION

INTEGRATION

The team of the NGO "Tabula Rasa for the Future Generation'', in cooperation with the volunteers of the "Zdybanka" YC, have been organizing systematic integration activities for internally displaced persons, primarily children and youth, living in the Batyovo Hromada since the beginning of summer 2022. Our team helps the youth center in conducting educational, cultural and artistic events, but we also enjoy just cooking or playing board games with the participants.

“Zdybanka”

“Zdybanka”

The Tabula Rasa team was the initiator of the establishment of the "Zdybanka" youth center on the basis of the Batyovo House of Culture within the framework of the five-year "Mriemo ta Diemo" program, financed by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The center was created with the aim of involving young people in the active social life of the community, by organizing and supporting social, cultural, environmental and other youth initiatives.
