On the occasion of World Mental Health Day on October 10, we launched ART+, a new programme dedicated to the emotional well-being and personal development of children and young people in Ukraine.

Together with our partner Science4People, we have been working to create opportunities for children affected by the war. Through SKOLA+, we support their education and encourage them to discover new interests. SPORT+ offers opportunities for physical activity, teamwork, and shared experiences. Now, with ART+, we are adding another dimension to our work: a dedicated space for creativity, self-expression, and emotional well-being.

ART+ offers creative sessions where children and young people can experiment with different artistic techniques, explore their emotions, and develop important social and personal skills. Painting, drawing, and other creative activities provide opportunities to express feelings and experiences that are sometimes difficult to put into words.

The idea behind ART+ is not to teach children how to make perfect art. It is to give them room to try things out, make their own decisions, and discover what they enjoy – without the pressure of having to get everything right.

At the heart of the programme is the belief that every child should have a place where they can simply be themselves and feel accepted and supported.

With ART+, we are taking another step towards supporting children not only in their learning and development, but also in their emotional well-being. Because helping young people thrive means nurturing their creativity, resilience, and belief in themselves.

The ART+ workshops will take place at three schools in Batyovo and Bakosh. We warmly invite all interested children and young people to join us and look forward to seeing this new programme grow with the support of our partner Science4People.
